IV. CSP Data Sharing Agreements

Authorization and Duration
You must obtain explicit customer authorization to access their data through SMT. Authorizations are valid for up to 12, 24, or 36 months, and customers may end or modify them at any time by following the process outlined in the Smart Meter Texas User Guide.
Termination or Withdrawal
Customers can terminate data access agreements at any time by notifying Energy Ego or modifying their authorization settings on Smart Meter Texas.
Responsibilities and Restrictions
You are responsible for maintaining the integrity of data use and following all data sharing agreements and applicable laws. Any breach of data use terms or unauthorized access may result in immediate termination of access and potential legal consequences.
