2. Our Electricity Brokerage Services
Energy Ego assists residential and commercial customers with comparing electricity plans, reviewing electricity bills and usage, requesting quotes, evaluating enrollment options, and communicating with retail electricity providers. Energy Ego acts as an electricity broker and is not the utility delivering electricity or necessarily the retail electricity provider selling a plan. Provider eligibility, pricing, deposits, promotions, and enrollment decisions are determined by applicable providers and rules.
3. Rates, Offers, and Enrollments
Rates, usage estimates, contract terms, and availability can change. Displayed estimates are informational and may differ from actual bills based on usage, utility charges, taxes, fees, credits, contract terms, and other factors. Review each provider's Electricity Facts Label (EFL), Terms of Service, Your Rights as a Customer, and enrollment disclosures before enrolling. An enrollment is not complete until accepted and confirmed under the provider's applicable process.
4. Information You Provide
You agree to submit accurate information and to provide documents or electricity usage information only when you have the right to do so. When you ask Energy Ego to review an electricity bill or coordinate an enrollment, we may use the information you submit to fulfill that request as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Providers and Links
Our website may link to third-party electricity providers and other services. Their offers, contracts, website terms, and privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for errors or interruptions on third-party websites, except as required by applicable law.
6. Energy Ego SMS Messaging Terms

Customer-service texts: If you separately opt in, Energy Ego may send text messages related to electricity rate comparison requests, electric bill analysis, requested quotes, enrollment assistance, and customer-service follow-ups.
Marketing texts: If you separately opt in to marketing, Energy Ego may send promotional texts about electricity rates, available offers, electricity shopping opportunities, renewals, and energy-saving information. Marketing consent is independent of customer-service consent.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your selections and interactions with Energy Ego. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out: Reply STOP to a message to opt out. You may receive a confirmation text. You may also contact us to request removal. Opting out of one message category does not authorize messages in another category, and any subsequent messaging must comply with your preferences and applicable law.
